Let’s Brighten Up The New Year

2 great colors to decorate with

It’s a two-fer this year with 2 great Pantone Colors to brighten any color scheme and add brightness and optimism into the New Year.

January is the perfect time to add some color.

Now that the Holiday decorations are put away, you can once again see your surroundings. Take this opportunity to evaluate areas in your home you’d like to change.

Color Spotlight

Before you reach for the pot of sunflower yellow paint and daub the walls, have a think about color and how it makes you feel. Evaluate your spaces and see where some pops of color might bring style to existing gray backdrops. We have seen so much gray over the past few years, try an accent color here and there to update the look.

~ SUBTLE
This delightful sunny sitting room looks bright and breezy with pale yellow drapery and the gray is downplayed in the accents.
You don’t have  to embrace the dark side to be in fashion.
~ BOLD
Embrace your inner marigold and have fun with the sun. The drapery and sheers are an elegant floor to ceiling treatment. The rug and pillows ground the space.

~ MIX IT UP
A little goes a long way, and you can add other colors for a well rounded feel. Contemporary neutral grey roman shades are easy to mix and match.

White is the great equalizer and usually adds some balance to strong color schemes. These top down/bottom up roman shades offer functionality and beauty, especially useful in bathrooms. Add fresh yellow accents at will.

Fun Fabric Focus

Consider adding throw pillows or an accent chair upholstered in a fun fabric!
